A calm, private way to track your net worth.

Thanks for using Wealth Lens. If you have a question, found a bug, or want to suggest a feature, get in touch and I'll do my best to help.

Where is my data stored?

On your device. Wealth Lens has no account and no server for your data. If you turn on iCloud Sync (off by default), your captures are end-to-end encrypted and stored in your own private iCloud — they reach your other devices but are never sent to the developer.

How are currencies converted?

Wealth Lens converts balances using public daily reference exchange rates from the European Central Bank, fetched via the open Frankfurter service (https://frankfurter.dev). Only public market data is requested — never your financial information.

How do I erase my data?

Open Settings inside the app and choose Erase, or delete the app to remove the local copy. If you used iCloud Sync, you'll be asked whether to also remove the copy in your iCloud.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything works offline; only the exchange-rate refresh needs a connection, and the app falls back to the last known rates when offline.

Summary

Wealth Lens is designed to be private by default. By default, your financial information — the assets, liabilities, balances, and notes you enter — stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising, and the developer never receives your holdings. If you turn on iCloud Sync (off by default), your captures are end-to-end encrypted and stored in your own private iCloud so they reach your other devices — they go to your Apple account, never to the developer.

What data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Wealth Lens has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. Everything you enter is stored on your device — and, if you enable iCloud Sync, in your own private iCloud. It is never sent to us.

Information stored on your device

The financial data you enter (assets, liabilities, balances, currencies, dates, and notes) is saved in Wealth Lens's encrypted local storage on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and unless you turn on iCloud Sync it never leaves your device. If you delete the app, the local copy is removed with it. You can also erase it from within the app's Settings.
